These are fun to make and so tasty! I'm not sure where the recipe originates but a good friend gave it to me so that is the source as far as I'm concerned. Awesome recipe to do with kids, because you mix it in a mason jar...
Cake Ingredients and Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325º
In a quart size jar (you will need a lid) add 2 eggs and shake 10 times.
Add 1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup sugar. Shake 20-30 times.
Add 1/2 cup orange juice, 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Shake 40 times.
Pour into greased 9x9 pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Frosting:
(this was not part of the original recipe but I love frosting so I had to add some):
•3-4 cups powdered sugar
•1 tablespoon butter
•2 tablespoons cream cheese (we just happened to have a cream cheese packet in the fridge from a restaurant so that was how much I added, you could always add more I'm sure)
•1 teaspoon of vanilla
•2 tablespoons or more of orange juice until the frosting is desired consistency ( I did mine pretty thick so I could put more on, again because of my love for frosting)
•pinch of salt
Mix all ingredients until smooth and spread on cake when the cake is cooled. Yum!

I think we are going to have the for dessert tonight. I love that the kids can actually help.
